Klean Kanteen has set the standard in the field of stainless steel, healthy water containers. While their choice of designs and colors is limited, the quality of the product is never in question. Here, however, is the Wine Carafe design, which is a fun and whimsical choice for those who take their health seriously but still enjoy the lighter side of avoiding contaminents. The Merlot is the only color to chose and an absolute must. The word "wine" appears on the side, brilliantly translated into several languages. The rich, stunning appearance of the Carafe will be a subject of conversation wherever you travel and the exceptional quality simply draws attention without crying out for it. Beautifully understated, superbly designed, finely manufactured, and a lot of fun.

We've used this bottle for storing wine on several trips. It generally works well. The only complaint is that we had some leaking with a substantial change in altitude (~5000 feet). We bought this bottle because we thought it was 750 mL, the same size as a standard wine bottle. When it arrived, we found out it was 800 mL, just like other standard Klean Kanteens which sell for less. The only difference I can discern is that the wine version may come with a slightly different cap then some of the standard bottles. If you want the wine logo on the bottle, you can pay the extra money. Otherwise, order the standard bottle and save a few $. Just be sure to pick the same kind of cap as comes with the wine version.

This is the exact same product as their 27 oz. Klean Kanteen, but it's "merlot" colored and has wine written in many languages on it. While I TOTALLY love KK's products, this is one to buy ONLY if you want to splurge. Otherwise, buy the regular one.

Not too much to say here. This item works as described. The wine stays fresh longer, and the stainless steel imparts no taste I can detect. I have no complaints.
